I would encourage any Nokia 770 owner to consider using Slimserver to stream music, either directly to your Nokia 770 or to Slimdevices' excellent streaming audio player, The Squeezebox. The Slimserver application is cross-platform, open-source, highly configurable, and oh so free. You do not need to own a Squeezebox to run the software.

I've written a custom 'skin' for the slimserver interface that is optimized for the Nokia 770. I wrote up a Slimserver and Nokia 770 mini-HOWTO on slimdevices website. Giddyup!

Update - If you see this error from Audio Player :

"audio stream not found at given address"

Try disabling the password on Slimserver
