Using Scheduleworld and GPE

Scheduleworld provides a way to synchronise Outlook Calandar, notes,contacts and todo to an external server. The service is free. You can then access this information using the nokia 770 Opera browser. Instructions are here

GPE provides decent PIM functions for Nokia 770, use scheduleworld to sync your Outlook to GPE.

Once you have scheduleworld account set up and working, you can synchronise calendar to GPE Calendar by using the GPE remote calendar link. You will find this under GPE Menu->tools->Calendars. You will now get a popup. Click on edit calendar. Under Type select subscribe. In the URL enter the URL provided by schedule world for .ics synchronisation.

GPE contacts import. Scheduleworld allows you to export its contacts as a vcf file. You can save this to your nokia 770 and import to gpe contacts. If you have several hundred contacts the import can be a bit slow...give it a chance it does work.

Using Outlook Web access

Why bother with sync at all, just go directly to your Exchange server via the web interface. Works great with the nokia 770. No Offline reading though.
