Easiest way to install applications on 770 (using Repositories)

The easiest way to install applications on to the 770 is to use the Application Manager. First you add a "Repository" to the Application Manager's Application Catalog. Then you can install the program inside the Application Manager. You don't need to directly download a file from a webpage. This is better because you are less likely to be missing files needed for the application to run.

After adding several Repositories, you will have lots of programs to install visible in the Application Manager.

III. Here is another easy way to install programs (instead of downloading a file manually): When browsing the maemo site, you'll notice every so often on the product page a green button labeled "click here to install" If you are browsing the site from your 770, the button does what it promises.
