itT Hotspot Search

Mike Cane recently mentioned about cNet’s hotspot finder page and we thought that adding a similar feature at Internet Tablet Talk will help members and guests find hotspots easily and directly within the site.

JiWire, who currently maintains an up-to-date database of free and paid hotspots throughout the world, was nice enough to give Internet Tablet Talk a small script that we could use in the site. While it currenlty opens a new window with the results, we are hoping that we can host the search results within the site soon.

The new Hotspot Search component can be found at the right side of the main page, just below the gallery component. We have also added a ’Hotspot Search’ link at Quick Links for easy access.

We are hoping that you enjoy this new utility. If you like to see other features on the site, please let us know
